THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE

Greetings in Jesus name. I trust God we are all doing fine today. It has always been a miracle to be counted among the living (Read Mark 12:27) so it is a thing of joy to be alive for only the living can praise God. Today i will be talking about the wilderness experience as you know, many falsehood have been making the rounds for decades and this falsehood is told in most churches or gatherings by ministers.Mostly from the feel good kind of ministers. To be a follower of jesus is to take responsibility about anything that may befall you, to be a follower of jesus is to be ready to lay your life down for the sake of following Jesus. To be a follower of jesus is to accept whatever you have to pass through in your journey of attaining the Goal of saving your soul. Luke 9:23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. The words of jesus has no hidden agenda attached it, it was very clear to deny yourself has to do with the pleasure of the world it has to do with denying the flesh, to deny oneself is to let go of the pleasures of this world and seek after God.The cross signifies a burden which could be anything that discomforts you but still at that, you have to carry your cross dairly for the sake of following jesus. The wilderness experience is a place where nothing works, a place of dryness which God uses to build his people for greater works.Don't let any minister or anyone fool you with prosperity and other types of gosple which are so rampant today. The truth about the journey cannot be hidden if you are open to the Holy spirit he will lead you to the truth. Matthew 7:14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. The gate is narrow. You have to squeeze yourself to be able to get in and to squeeze oneself is to discomfort oneself.After squeezing through the gate the way which leads to eternal life is also difficult and because of the difficulties very few find it. Don't let anyone fool you. I repeat the way to gain eternal life is not bread and milk like many ministers deceived their followers to believe. “wilderness experience” is usually thought of as a tough time in which a believer endures discomfort and trials. The pleasant things of life are unable to be enjoyed, or they may be absent altogether, and one feels a lack of encouragement. A “wilderness experience” is often a time of intensified temptation and spiritual attack. It can involve a spiritual, financial, or emotional drought. Having a “wilderness experience” is not necessarily a sign that a believer is sinning; rather, it is a time of God-ordained testing. So from the explanation you can clearly see that the wilderness experience is a time God uses to test his people Don't go back to the world because you are passing through your wilderness experience (Read Matthew 4:1-11) Don't forget great problems always result in great victory do not turn your back from God rather lean on him trust in him he will help you, he will never let you down. Exodus 15:22 “Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea into the Wilderness of Shur. For three days they trekked through the wilderness without finding water.” In your wilderness experience perseverance is the key. stay with God in all and keep standing for jesus for in only him is victory assured
