LIFT UP JESUS

Greetings in Jesus name, we are blessed to be counted among the living God indeed has been good to us. Today's write- up will be on lifting up Jesus, and many will be wondering why this topic, well to give an explanation is a sure thing to do, but before I do that I will be asking some very important and vital question's. 1-why are some or so many Christians hiding their identity? 2-why are so many not identifying with Jesus deeply and truthfully? The answer to these question's will be addressed as you read through. First of all, why did peter deny Jesus?. Peter denied Jesus because he lacked self confidence and secondly, he was following Jesus from a distance even though he knew who Christ was first hand, he was afraid to be identified as follower of Jesus . Read* Luke 22:54-62* We should not trust in our own ability many of us trusted in our own ability when we started following Jesus, the capacity to grow in spirit and in truth was not there hence the boldness of discipline and courage was missing bringing about timidity. *John4:24* God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Without the spirit of God in us we cant lift up Jesus. In his day, Charles Spurgeon was probably the most famous preacher in the world. The crowds of people who wanted to hear him preach were so large that before the church was able to erect a building with enough seating, they rented the Royal Surrey Music Hall which seated ten thousand people. For a number of years, tickets were required to get in to hear Spurgeon preach. The story is told that a visitor from America, eager to hear the famous “prince of preachers,” convinced a friend to get a ticket for him. After the message concluded, the American stood in the vestibule of the church talking to his English friend. He did not know that Spurgeon was standing nearby listening. The Englishman asked what his friend thought of the service, and he replied, “What a preacher!” According to the story, Spurgeon began to weep. A church member asked him what was wrong and Spurgeon said, “I wish he had said, ‘What a Saviour!’” Let's point men to Jesus, let's lift Jesus higher. in the book of* Proverb 27:2* Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips. Why so many of us are still not showing where our allegiance lies is because we are still so attached to the world and the cross is not something we will want to carry as the cross destabilizes all our worldly plans. *Matthew 19:21* Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven and follow me. I wonder what would have gone through this man's mind when he heard those word's many of us are still in that position not sure of what we actually want by being a follower of Jesus and lifting his name higher. *Matthew 10:39*He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. In these last days the trials of your faith in God will increase. The true followers of Yeshua will be seen and known and those who are not true followers will be exposed. Let me leave you with the words of Jesus with the promises attached to them *LIFE-MATTHEW 16:24-25 *ACCEPTANCE-JOHN6:37 *REWARD-MARK 10:29-31 *REVELATION-JOHN 14:21 *FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD-JOHN 15:14-15 *JOY- JOHN 15:9-11 *TRIALS- TIMOTHY 3:12 Lift the name of Jesus higher wherever and whatever you do, Tell the world about Jesus .God bless you in Jesus name.

DON'T BE DISCOURAGED

Greetings to you all, I trust God you are doing fine and like i always do I will be writing to you the chronicles of Thoughts my thoughts as lead with the spirit of God. Sometime we are discouraged sometime we want to give up in everything rightfully so when the pressure seems so unbearable. Even at the level of discouragement we should understand that the only solution is for us to pray. I like i always do i will take us to the bible which is our road map. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." look at it your God is with you wherever you go if he goes with you everywhere is also with you at your lowest points don't allow the devil to fool you with is classic word, of God has left you. In my own life for many years i was discouraged i tried other means to find a way but no God has a better plan for me wait on God is everywhere and at everytime with you. John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." When we put our hope in the world, we get disappointed constantly and when this happens discouragement comes, the world has nothing to offer don't measure yourself with the world's standard, it will fail you and when it does discouragement and anxiety will follow. Isaiah 40:31 "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." To soar like an eagle and to run and not faint can only be found in putting our hope in God, there are no other ways don't waste your time trying and when it fails it will result to discouragement. Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Water and fire are about the strongest forces, it can consume anything that stand in the way, but here God is saying waters and fire can not win over you what a wonderful and so assuring word from our God. As you finish reading this go to your kneels and say this prayer, Father i surrender all to you i dwell in your promises that never fails Lord have your way in my life in Jesus name....AMEN. keep standing for Jesus

LYING PROPHETS

Hey, good to know that you doing good and the name of the Lord is lifted up in and around you. I have seen a serious upsurge in false prophecies, fake prophets and lying prophets which are all same. some may be asking why am I talking about this? i'm talking about this so we should know how to identify this set of people operating under the spirit of falsehood sent out to confuse and deceive the people by the father of all liars himself don't forget we are in the last days. Matthew 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. Not only will they came in the name of Jesus they will claim they are from God. The prophetic ministry is a special kind of ministry not meant for everyone in-fact it is one of the most compelling ministry in the body of Christ because being a prophet makes you a spokesperson for God, it has no room for lying. Eziekiel 13:2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear the word of the LORD!’ ” lying prophets has been in existence for a long time all through the scripture you will find them. The truth is when you don't see or hear from God don't say the Lord said ones you do this my friend you become an enemy to God, for God does not play with his words. ISAIAH 55:1 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. If the Lord has not called you to be a prophet don't force yourself into it, many have forced themselves into this special kind of ministry and have actually become the tool of the devil to lie to the people.Many also got involve because their motives is to make money and not to be a vessel of honour. Some have went as far as to seek a partnership with whispering demonic spirits to get information some have gone to use astrology and Ouija boards to look into the future and call it prophecy, are you one of those doing that? God is warning you right now to stop. Matthew 7 :16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16 asked a very important question the answer, men do not gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles the fruits of false and lying prophets will reveal who they truly are . Many of us know them we have seen first-hand how this set of lying false prophets have destroyed many homes, family, marriages. God speaks harshly against lying prophets, occult practices, and other means of sorcery, this set of people are a problem to the body of Christ. SIN OF PRIDE

Kingdom Greetings in Jesus name, its a lovely day. God has been talking to me about the sin of pride and i have been listening up to what he has to say. First of all i was taken to the book of Daniel 4:1-37 and i read with rapt attention as the spirit of God was talking to me about what i was reading. Before we proceed further it is good we know the meaning of sinful pride. The sin of pride is an excessive preoccupation with self and ones own achievement, status and possessions. At first do man has anything to offer himself and be so proud of other than what God has given him, The answer is no. Lets read the words of Charles H. Spurgeon which described pride as “an all-pervading sin.” He said, “Pride is so natural to fallen man that it springs up in his heart like weeds in a well-watered garden … its every touch is evil. You may hunt down this fox, and think you have destroyed it, and lo! Your very exultation is pride. None have more pride than those who dream that they have none. Pride is a sin with a thousand lives; it seems impossible to kill it. King Solomon said in proverb 16:18.“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall” this word's of king Solomon are so true and correct. James 4:6 .But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” pride is one the sins that will be widespread in the last days bringing about direct conflict with God. Why do God resist the proud the answer is simple the sin of pride is of the devil.As you know the gay pride parade is spreading like wildfire all over the world James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. One of the most intricate cases of pride was that of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:10 “These were the visions of my head while on my bed: I was looking, and behold, A tree in the midst of the earth, And its height was great. It all started in the dead of the night while the king was sleeping God showed him his intentions concerning what he wants to do to the king to humble him. It was a terrible nightmarish vision which made the king to be shaken. No magicians, soothsayers, astrologers, Chaldeans could give the meaning of the dream except a man with an excellent spirit of God named Daniel who was carried away as a slave to Babylon. The root cause of king Nebuchadnezzar problem was the sin of pride. Daniel 4:16 Let his heart be changed from that of a man, Let him be given the heart of a beast, And let seven times pass over him. This was the sentence he brought to himself because of the sin of pride. Daniel 4:24 this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king: Daniel did the interpretation and it was a terrible thing that was waiting for the king based on God's words . All came as result of pride lets do away with the sin of pride. Daniel 4:27 Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity. i will be writing the part 2 of the sin of pride later this week God bless you as you read and understand what God is saying about pride.It is a deadly sin resist it completely.So you won't draw God's resistance to yourself. THE WAITING HOUR.

Kingdom Greetings in Jesus name, we have just entered a new month and i know you are happy, it is actually a miracle to stay for eight months out of the twelve months of the year four more months to go, the Lord has been good to us. since last week I have been wanting to write to you about the waiting hour I have not found the chance to do so until just today I know it's all on God's will for me to write it out today. What is the waiting hour you may ask? to me in my definition the waiting hour is a time when God seem to be silent not because is incapable or not willing to help you but because he wants to build something solid out of your situation all to his glory based solely on his will for you. Lets see the bible for instances. Matthew 7:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Jesus asked the father a very crucial question which many of us have also asked when everything seem not to move and prayers not answered Did God forsake Jesus? NO. It was simply Gods will at work for his glory to be seen and of cause his Glory was seen after 3 days Christ Jesus resurrected. The waiting hour is time of God's glory to be seen is a time of his presence to be felt don't lose hope because your expectations are not being met, God has always had a master plan for his people,and his master plan is to do them good ***Jeremiah 29:11*** Another case of waiting hour was that of Elijah who was a very strong and powerful prophet of God, have you asked yourself why did Elijha hid himself in the cave after seeing God's power at work with his challenge to the 400 or more prophets of Baal who were backed by jezebel and powerful demons?. Your frailty as a human is filled with doubts and struggles this is all part of our faith journey, let's take the reading from the book. ***1 King 19 vs 1:19***. Sometimes even while we are for God, we still have to go through somethings that makes us ask if we are truly for him, or if he is truly looking after us. Prophet Elijah ran and hid himself over a treat it became his waiting hour he forgot the miracle God has done through him he forgot how powerful is his God, But did God allow him to experience those problems ?Yes, he did because he was preparing Prophet Elijah for a greater task ahead and if you read your bible you will see how God tried him. Another case of the waiting hour was when John the Baptist was in prison castrated by king Herod. ***Matthew 11:1-3***. When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” John the Baptist while in prison not knowing what awaits him next in his waiting hour sent his disciples to Jesus and what was the message? he wanted to be sure if all he has said and done because of the messiah was true. When we asked questions is usually out of a state of confusion this is the time we seem not to understand any more what God's intentions are. THIS IS THE WAITING HOUR. This usually come's and go its a time where the will of God takes over completely and your will is pushed down and to let you know what happens next after this is THE GLORY OF THE LORD. wait for it! wait for it!! wait for it!!! ***Isaiah 60 vs 22***.
