THE SUBTLE ENTRANCE OF SIN

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus we are at the end of the 11th month of 2021 and in few weeks time we all will be seeing the new year 2022 by his grace and mercy, just this morning being the 28th day of November 2021 while sitting on my couch the spirit of God whispered to my heart and heard the word ** the subtle entrance of sin** as I began to ponder deeply on this words the message began to open up to me. 1-How does sin get into the heart of a man? 2-Does it take a period of romancing a thought that leads to sin? 3-Do idleness play a part in sinning? I will address this three points with bible references to give us a clearer take on this topic and I know by his grace he will be talking to someone and delivering someone from the grip of sin into repentance and power through the holy spirit to resist the temptation of sin and also to form a defense resistance always that will result to the fleeing of the devil and his hordes of demonic soldiers* One of the reference I will use is that of king David and Bathsheba this is a clear result of the thoughts of our heart and idleness can lead us into a trap, we must guide our hearts and must get busy at the appropriate times *** 2 Samuel 11-27**** when kings where going to war King David remain in Jerusalem. King David one evening rose from bed and was walking on the roof top of the his palace and from the roof he saw a woman bathing. Two notable points here why did King David wake up suddenly from sleep? Why was he walking on the roof top? The only answer to this, was king David was probably troubled over some issues and this issues made him restless and unable to sleep, this happens to people when they can not sleep they look for something to get their minds off their worries this could be anything* It didn’t stop there what started as a lust feelings led into the real action of laying with her which resulted to a pregnancy wow this is serious just a little idleness’ a little trouble, little peep led King David into this great wickedness King David romanced the thoughts of having the woman in his bed after seeing her nakedness it became a mission to accomplish his motive was to have sex with her and that was what he did not thinking of the consequences his action will bring. ***Sin comes with a consequence even though we repent.*** King David was playing multiple games to have the woman for himself and to cover up his sins from men, but behold no one can hid anything from God he see's the heart, motives always brings about action. The King went as far as organizing the death of the legitimate husband of Bathsheba Uriah who was not only a trusted captain of the kings Army but also a friend, this kind of sin and wickedness did shake the heavens and God was very angry with king David this was a man God loved so much ****2 Samuel 11 vs. 7-12***** Let's guide our thoughts let's also guide what our eye's can see, one major point of entrance that corrupts our thoughts is Pornography it has been on the increase worldwide many men and women even pastors, ministers are secretly watching adult movie in the office and on the go this has lead to many pervasions watching phonograpy destroys a person so fast it destroyes your mind, thoughts and attitude the truth whatever you take into your thoughts will either edify or pollute you, what do you in secret? As the book of Proverb 23 vs. 7 puts it so expressly clear you are just a product of your thoughts. King David allowed his thoughts to take root in his heart so deeply that all he wanted was to have her at all cost even if it meant getting the husband or any one out of the way. Get your heart straight I will be writing you again on the part two and three as we move further into the life of King David, King Saul and King Solomon as we uncover the subtle entrance of sin and what we should we do to resist temptation till I write again I love you but God loves you more.
